Crime Tips & Prevention

If you are contacted by phone in reference to your bank account, debit card, or credit card being hacked or used by someone else to make purchases, DO NOT provide any personal information over the phone.  Some scammers attempt to get more information from the individual they are calling.  Also, they may threaten you with law enforcement if you do not answer their questions--again DO NOT give them any account or card numbers, date of birth, or social security number nor verify any information they may have.  Don't call back to numbers they provide.  If you have any questions or concerns about your accounts, contact your financial institution or card company directly.
