Franklin County Drug Task Force Investigators executed a search warrant at 364 Scott's Landing Road in Hodges Thursday evening. A months long investigation secured enough information for investigators to get the search warrant and arrest Tyler Drake Roberson. Roberson had been dealing illegal narcotics from the residence and illegal narcotics were found at the property. Investigators found methamphetamine, cocaine, and synthetic cannabinoids along with 18 guns and over $9000 in cash. Roberson is currently charged with Unlawful Possession with Intent to Distribute -Methamphetamine, 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled substance (cocaine and synthetic cannabinoids), and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additional charges are likely to be added later.

Investigators with DTF seized the guns and cash from Roberson. After Roberson's arrest, he was transported to the Franklin County Detention Center where he was booked. During transport to the detention center, Roberson told the transport Deputy that he had some Cocaine and a small pipe hid inside the front part of his pants, (not to be confused with the pockets on his pants). He freely gave up the contraband prior to arriving at the detention center.

Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies, Franklin County Correctional Officers, Red Bay Police Department Officers, and Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force Region E assisted in the search warrant.
