October 2014 Message

It is hard to believe that fall is upon us once again.  There are many safety concerns to think about and prepare for this time of year.  With Halloween this month, it is a good time to check out some Halloween safety tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at the link below.  Please show everyone in your family these tips.  Now is also the time to clean or maintenance chimneys, fireplaces & other heating units to make sure they are in safe working order.  Travel will increase over the next three months due to the holidays, so please drive carefully.  Obey the traffic laws, including wearing your seat belt and watch for children and pedestrians, road construction zones, and general traffic congestion.  When we each pay extra attention while driving we help prevent accidents.

Everyone have a great Halloween and fall season and as always your county’s law enforcement is here working to keep our citizens safe.
